Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

ClockForClaude ("we") builds a browser extension and an MCP connector that add time context (time, date, timezone, weather) to your conversations with Claude. This policy explains what data the extension processes, for what purpose, and how it is protected. We follow a data minimization approach: we only collect what is strictly necessary to operate.

1. Data processed

The extension does not read, store or transmit the content of your conversations with Claude. It only inserts a timestamp block at the start of your messages, locally, in your browser.

2. Where this data is stored

All your data (city, settings, license key) is stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local). It is not sent to any ClockForClaude server and stays on your device. Uninstalling the extension erases this data.

3. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or rent any data. Strictly limited data may be sent to the following services, only to provide the requested feature:

4. Browser permissions

The extension does not access any other site and does not track your browsing.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data. Since your data is stored locally, you can view and delete it at any time from the extension settings or by uninstalling it. For any question, contact us (section 8).

6. Retention

Local data is kept as long as the extension is installed. Any payment data is retained by Stripe according to its legal obligations.

7. Security

Network exchanges (weather, payment) are encrypted over HTTPS. No sensitive data is stored on a ClockForClaude server.

8. Contact

For any question about this policy or your data: clockforclaude@gmail.com — ClockForClaude, Toulouse, France.
